I have over 35 years of experience working with computer hardware, networking, software and operating systems.

Technology is also a hobby of mine and have used a vast array of devices over the last 35 years. I used to build all my own computers, almost 20 years. Now its much more cost effective to purchase directly from quality vendors. I still optimize the 'guts' with disks and memory devices to my liking. Today that consists of 2 desktops(Dell/Apple), 2 laptops(Apple/Lenovo), 2 raspberry pi's, Android tablet and Android phone. In the past most of my smaller hardware was Apple (iPad, iPhone). Now I find less expensive Android devices function to the same level.

My corporate life was dominated by Microsoft operating systems. Now I personally do not run or support any Microsoft systems ... sorry. I would be happy to recommend alternatives that perform much better.
